Almond Brioche Bostock
It was with a heavy heart I decided not to make pumpkin whoopie pies. I weighed the pros and cons between 1 cup of oil and 5 million cups of sugar and “oh I’ll just have half of one”…and couldn’t come to terms with it.
So I made this instead.
Holy cats! I feel like this is something you should have Christmas morning. Recommend.

Full disclosure: I still had a ton of neufchatel and this needed just something to make it less bread-y…….orange cream cheese frosting:
8 oz neufchatel
4 T butter
1/4 C confectioners sugar
3 T fresh orange juice
Zest of one orange
Blend. Frost to order (so you can heat up the brioche piece by piece when you want it)
