Pickling Mania pt. 2: Jalapeno’s. This isn’t my first time at the rodeo.
5 cups vinegar (white or cider)
1 cup water
4 teaspoons pickling salt
2 teaspoons sugar
2 pounds fresh jalapeno peppers
3-6 slices from a peeled carrot
1/2 slice of onion
Yields 3-4 pints, follow directions for dill pickles below. Or, just boil the hell out of everything.
